This is another in my ongoing series exploring the thrilling high-speed maneuvers of the rodeo pickup riders as they unhitch the buckstraps on the broncs and capture the lead rope to guide the bronc from the arena. Of course, it helps that the pickup riders are often dressed with bright shirts and silk scarves and mounted on flashy saddle-horses. I've been experimenting with texturing my canvas panels using various acrylic media, and thoroughly enjoy the variety of surfaces and visual roughness this gives me
